Role of the Client

‘Client’ is a person for whom a building project is carried out. The current regulations place certain duties on Clients. These duties are intended to ensure that the project is designed and constructed by competent persons. All clients should be aware of their legal duties.

This duty also extends to homeowners, called Clients in the Regulations, who are having construction work carried out on their home.
