Our childcare package offers those who work in the industry and those who have young children at home, an introduction into the four core safety training modules that are required when working with and looking after young children.
This package includes: Paediatric First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety and Food Safety.

All those who work in the childcare sector and parents of young children.
What will you learn on this course?
Participants of this course will undertake the following modules and know how to:
Paediatric First Aid – Assess and treat paediatric patients for various ailments and conditions
Manual Handling – Understand handling techniques and identify dangerous situations
Fire Safety – Understand the basics of fire preventions and how to put an emergency plan in place
Food Safety – Understand the legislation and importance around food hygiene, how to identify food safety hazards and understand proper waste management and cleaning procedures
How does it work?
Upon completion of each module, each participant is required to take an assessment process which consists of 20 multiple choice questions (80 questions in total). You will be required to achieve a 80% pass mark in each module assessment in order to complete the childcare course package. Don’t worry if you don’t pass first time, you can retake each module and course as many times as is required.
