Workplace Stress

Workplace stress is a hazard that all employers should consider when designing and implementing safety management systems. It’s estimated that 20% of workers suffer from workplace stress. Prolonged stress can lead to stress related illnesses which can seriously affect the work and personal lives of employees. Awareness and training is key to early recognition and resolution of workplace stress.

What will the participant learn?

  • Safety Legislation and how it’s applied
  • Identify common causes of workplace stress.
  • Stress management.

How does it work?

The student completes a series of online modules. At the end of each module there is an online test. There is a requirement to achieve a certain % in order to pass the exam. The course can be retaken until the learner passes

As part of good Safety Management, employers should monitor staff to ensure that they are putting their training into practise.
