All employers are required to assess and evaluate the health and safety conditions of their workplace. This package can be tailored specifically to your company’s needs. What will you learn on this course?

All participants of this course will undertake the following modules and know how to:

• VDU DSE Office -Understand the effects that incorrect use can have on the body, how to correct poor posture and know the legislation pertaining to the use of VDU and workstations.
• Fire Safety – Recognise a fire hazard, understand fire prevention basics and what steps to take in an emergency.
• Manual Handling – Understand correct manual handling procedures, correct ergonomic conditions and recognise dangerous situations.

How does it work?

Participants must complete each module and take part in an assessment process at the end of each module which consists of 20 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 80%. If you don’t pass, you can take the course as many times as you need to with no extra charge.
