Starting as a small one man operation, Dualway Transport has grown over four decades to become one of the largest, family run, transport operations in Ireland.
Founded by Tony McConn in 1979 and now managed by Tony’s daughter Trish Dualway Transport has grown to win contracts transporting tens of thousands of delegates, participants and supporters around Ireland – Special Olympics Ireland 2003 (10,000+ passengers); Dublin City Marathon/Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 2000-2006 (3000+ passengers); Hyundai Annual Conference 2015 (500+ delegates). Today Dualway Transport’s customer base includes local schools, colleges and societies and national and international customers across the education, government, tourism and corporate sectors. Working in partnership with industry colleagues David McConn sits on the board of the Coach Tourism & Transport Council of Ireland and Trish McConn is actively involved in the Family Business Network at DCU
Their needs
Myelearnsafety.ie worked with Dualway to develop a bespoke induction training program for new and existing staff members to ensure were properly inducted in the Health & Safety policies and procedures for the company. Dualway also required manual handling training which could be delivered in a flexible manner to suit various worker requirements
The eLearn solution
eLearn were able to take Dualway’s existing Health & Safety information and convert it into an online induction course with specialist input from our own Health & Safety qualified staff. The system was trialled with the HR Management and then it was rolled out to staff.
